SIOUX FALLS, S.D. (KELO AM) - Crews pulled a female survivor out of the rubble of the Copper Lounge collapse in downtown Sioux Falls around 1:30pm Thurs.
The woman's parents were at the scene to greet their daughter who survived almost three hours buried in the concrete, cinder block, air conditioning units and timber.
Rescuers were in contact with woman shortly after arriving at the scene. With hands and five gallon buckets, Sioux Falls Fire Rescue scratched away at the wreckage. She emerged from the debris wearing only a t-shirt.
She was taken away on a stretcher to a hospital for treatment. She may have leg injuries.
Crews continue searching for a construction work still trapped at 10th and Phillips. There hasn't been any contact with him.
