FARGO (KFGO-AM) - A severe thunderstorm with high winds and hail moved through portions of eastern North Dakota Thursday morning.
The storm generated reports of pea-size and larger hail and damaging winds.
A semi carrying anhydrous ammonia rolled on its side in the eastbound lane of I-94 near Oriska. Two people had to extricated and were taken to a hospital. The anhydrous tanks did not rupture. The semi came to rest in the ditch.
Another semi rolled over east of Sanborn. Wind gusts were estimated at 70 mph. The driver's injuries were not considered life threatening.
Street flooding, power outages and damaged buildings were reported in Jamestown.
