ALEXANDRIA, MN (KFGO) - An extensive ground search has ended for a high level sex offender in Otter tail and Grant counties.
A car driven by Israel Lenthe was found near Ashby at around 6:45am Fri. Lenthe had cut off his ankle bracelet. There were shoe tracks in the snow leading away from the car.
Lenthe has been living in Alexandria. The Douglas County Sheriff's Office says Lenthe is in custody.
