New Rockford, N.D. (NewsDakota) – A New Rockford man was sentenced to 29 years in prison for murdering a Pingree man at a 2015 New Rockford wedding dance.
David Troske, 52, plead guilty to murder and attempted murder in Southeast District Court last September.
Troske admitted to firing a single shot into the neck of Donnie Perleberg of Pingree, killing him. He also admitted to shooting Mary Seiler of New Rockford.
Judge Thomas Merrick also sentenced Troske to 20 years in prison for the attempted murder of Seiler.
The sentences will run concurrently.
