Car involved in Grand Forks hit-and-run flees

Grand Forks, N.D. (KFGO) - The Grand Forks Police Department is looking for a vehicle involved in a hit-and-run crash. 

Authorities say around 6:25 p.m. Monday, a minivan was eastbound on 32nd Ave South when a westbound car turned in front of the van. The van then struck the car, left the roadway and came to rest on the southeast corner of the intersection. The car initially stopped but then fled.

A passenger in the van was transported to Altru Hospital with unknown injuries.

The suspect is described as a black colored car being driven by a taller, white male with a thin build. The car will have front end damage. It was last seen entering the Walmart parking lot on 32nd Ave South.
