Jackson, WY (KFGO) - Authorities have determined how a West Fargo man died in a snowmobilling accident in northwest Wyoming.
A preliminary autopsy shows 33-year-old Andrew Grossnickle died December 30 from blunt force trauma to the left chest.
Investigators were initially perplexed initially because his snowmobile wasn't damaged. But they now believe Grossnickle was thrown from the machine or was hanging off the machine before hitting a tree.
He was with a group of friends but no one saw the accident.
His funeral will be held Saturday in West Fargo.
