DONNYBROOK, N.D. (AP) - The North Dakota Highway Patrol says a man died in a motorcycle accident near Donnybrook that started when he struck a deer.
The patrol says 62-year-old Rodney Landers, of Kenmare, was driving westbound on U.S. Highway 52 about 9:30 p.m. Friday when the motorcycle struck a deer. That caused Landers and the motorcycle to slide across the center line, where both were struck by a Honda van.
The driver of the van was not injured.
The crash remains under investigation.
