Fargo, N.D. (KFGO) - A man was hospitalized after being rescued from a house fire in south Fargo Saturday night.
According to the Fargo Fire Department, firefighters responded to 5803 Autumn Dr. S. around 6:50 p.m.
When they arrived, heavy smoke and fire were coming from several second floor windows. Neighbors said there was still someone inside on the second floor. One firefighter used a ladder and entered through a window.
An adult male was found inside. He was taken back out through the window to paramedics on the ground at approximately 7:02 p.m. He was then transported by ambulance to a hospital.
The rest of the home was searched. No one else was found.
By 7:15 p.m., the fire was mostly extinguished.
The cause is still under investigation. Damage estimates were not available.
