GRAND FORKS (KFGO) - The University of North Dakota has issued a warning to its International students, faculty and staff not to travel outside the United States, at least for the time being.
The precaution, issued in an e-mail from the University of North Dakota's International Center is directed at those on the campus who are from seven Muslim-majority countries named in President Trump's executive order Friday temporarily restricting entry into the U.S.
The e-mail says international students should not travel outside the country, even to Canada, until it can be determined "the actual ramifications" of the executive order.
A New York federal Judge issued a stay on Donald Trump's executive order but the adminstration downplayed the ruling. A senior advisor said the judge's action in no way changes the president's executive order which remains in full effect.
