MANDAN, ND (KFGO) - Two people are in jail after a significant methamphetamine bust in North Dakota.
A Morton County deputy stopped a car for speeding on I-94 near Mandan. The deputy and a K9 approached the car when the dog alerted to the possibility of drugs. Paraphernalia was found in the rental car along with four pounds of meth in the trunk.
The street value of the drugs is estimated is $500,000. Drug delivery and possession charges are expected against the driver and the passenger.
