FARGO (KFGO) - A man charged with the murder of a woman in her south Fargo townhouse last year has pleaded guilty.
Landon Lauwagie, 23, has admitted to the strangulation death of 40 year-old Cory Terlecky. Sentencing is set for May 15.
Asst. Cass County State's Attorney Cheri Clark told the judge that Lauwagie had talked about escaping during calls from jail that were recorded and wanted to kill her and two Fargo police detectives.
Lauwagie, who knew Terlecky, was arrested on a probation violation in southern Minnesota.
