CARRINGTON, N.D. (AP) - Funeral services are set next week for three children who died in a fire in Carrington.
The victims were all siblings - 7-year-old Spencer Tufte, his 8-year-old sister, Melody, and their 11-year-old brother, Alex.
The funeral will be held on Wednesday, March 8, in the Carrington High School Gymnasium at 3 p.m. Burial will be in the Carrington Cemetery.
A candlelight vigil was scheduled Thursday at 7 p.m. at the family's home. Barricades will be in place to keep vigil-goers away from the fire scene.
The children died when fire engulfed their mobile home in Carrington's Westside Trailer Court early Saturday. Their parents, Dawn and Brandon Tufte, and a third adult survived.
The North Dakota Bureau of Criminal Investigation and the state fire marshal are investigating.
