FARGO (KFGO) - Fargo School District voters have passed a school tax levy referendum by a large margin.
District leaders were hoping it would be approved saying layoffs and increased class sizes were likely without the change.
It allows the district to receive tax money based on the assessed value of property as property values increase.
It will not lead to a general property tax increase.
