FARGO (KFGO) - A man who had just completed a 25 year prison sentence Thursday for shooting a North Dakota judge is back in jail.
Reuben Larson was convicted of shooting Judge Lawrence Jahnke in a Grand Forks courtroom in 1992.
Assistant U.S. Attorney Rick Volk tells KFGO News that Larson "refused to comply with the terms of his supervised release" on separate federal firearms charges.
Larson is in the Burleigh county jail in Bismarck. He could be sent to prison for up to two more years.
Jahnke was seriously injured in the shooting, but eventually made a full recovery.
