FARGO (KFGO) - Planned Parenthood of North Dakota is upset with Representative Kevin Cramer. Friday, a group of protesters attempted to deliver a petition signed by over 800 North Dakotan's to the Republican Congressman's office in south Fargo urging a him to vote no on de-funding Planned Parenthood.
Planned Parenthood spokesperson Amy Jacobson says instead, they were denied entry to Cramer's office and met were by police who politely told them they were on private property and needed to get off the property or could face arrest for trespassing should the owner complain. It is not clear if Cramer's office or the property owner had complained to police.
Jacobson says prior to arrival, orangizers called and notified police they would be at the location. She calls the experience "completely unexpected and unsettling."
Congressman Cramer's office was not available for comment.
