FARGO (KFGO) - A Fargo City Commissioner is upset. Tony Gehrig says he's been told that FedEx Ground will leave Fargo and move to Moorhead.
Gehrig has been critical of tax incentives given to FedEx Express for relocating from the Grand Forks airport to Fargo.
Moorhead Mayor Del Rae Williams says the city has been working with a consulting company that helps companies find locations for certain businesses, but she has not been told that FedEx Ground is moving to Moorhead. She does says that FedEx Ground is a client of the consulting firm.
The mayor says there have been talks that a company which the consulting firm hasn't identified could bring 250 to 275 jobs to Moorhead.
