WASHINGTON, DC (KFGO) - KFGO News has been nominated for a National Edward R. Murrow award by the world's largest professional broadcast journalism organization.
The honor, from the Radio-Television Digital News Association, is for coverage of an armed motel standoff last March in West Fargo. KFGO News was selected from among nearly 4,300 entries in 16 categories.
Regional Murrow winners now move onto national competition. KFGO News has won seven national Murrows, considered one of the most prestigious awards in the industry.
