Bloomington, MN (WCCO/KFGO) - An overnight man hunt for a Crookston murder suspect in Bloomington is over.
The manhunt began just after 9 p.m. Wednesday when Bloomington Police pulled over a vehicle believed to have murder suspect Eddie Frazier inside. The 49-year-old Frazier was wanted for the murder of 48-year-old Tawnja Wallace earlier Wednesday in Crookston.
When police made contact with the man inside the vehicle, shots were fired and the suspect took off. The car was later found abandoned.
A huge perimeter was set up with a large police presence in the area.
Around 3 a.m. Thursday, Hennepin County Sheriff Rich Stanek says they found the suspect.
He was seen being loaded into an ambulance but his condition is unknown.

CROOKSTON, MN (KFGO) - Police are looking for a man after a woman he lived with was found dead in an apartment they shared.
The body of 48 year-old Tawnja Wallace was found in an apartment in downtown Crookston Wed. morning. Police are looking for 49 year-old Eddie Frazier who was last seen in Detroit Lakes a couple of hours after the body of Wallace was discovered.
Investigators say Frazier may be headed to the Twin Cities, South Dakota, or Arizona. Police say there's no indication that he's armed or is a threat.
He may be driving a 2001 silver 4-door Oldsmobile Aurora with Minnesota plates 341VNZ.
