West Fargo, N.D. (KFGO) - West Fargo has narrowed the list of 12 candidates for the city's new Police Chief to three finalists.
The finalists are Fargo Deputy Police Chief Joe Anderson, North Dakota Highway Patrol Lt. Troy Hischer and FBI Supervisory Special Agent Heith Janke.
"We are going to take a look at the process and develop our second round of evaluations looks like and what activities that might include," city spokeswoman Melissa Richard said. "We are also evaluating who will be on that second round interviews on our side to ensure we get as much input as possible and really pick the best candidate for the position."
The search for a new police chief came after commissioners fired Chief Mike Reitan in February.
