GWINNER, N.D. (KFGO) - A fatal crash in Sargent County over the weekend.
The State Patrol says an SUV was traveling west on State Highway 13, a half mile east of Gwinner around 10:30 Saturday night when it rear-ended a tractor pulling a disc plow.
The driver of the truck, 39-year-old Oscar Castro of Oakes, died at the scene from head injuries.
The tractor driver, 63-year-old Mark Wyum of Rutland, was not hurt.
Wyum’s farm equipment had the required lighting and it was properly working when the crash happened.
