WEST FARGO (KFGO) - The investigation into the longest serving member of the West Fargo Police Dept. is nearing an end.
Investigations Lt. Greg Warren was placed on paid administrative leave earlier this month after some type of complaint. Sources say the Cass County State's Attorneys office, citing a potential conflict of interest because of its working relationship with Warren, will have prosecutors in Barnes County review the results of the investigation.
State's Attorney Carl Martineck and the other attorney in his office have been appointed special assistants to the Cass County prosecutors office. Warren has been with the department for 42 years.
