MOORHEAD, Minn. (KFGO) - A man has been arrested in Moorhead for hitting two people with a shovel and a brick. Police were called Monday morning 1816 Belsly Boulevard on an assault report.
The victims are 16 and 18 years old. One of them was taken to the hospital with significant facial injuries.
Forty-three-year-old Jerome Walker of Moorhead was taken into custody. Police stopped his vehicle after it was seen leaving the area at a high rate of speed. Police recovered a broken shovel and a brick.
Walker is in the Clay County Jail on two counts of felony assault. Police say all the persons involved are known to each other.
