HORACE, ND (KFGO) - A farmer who has been fighting to keep his land from the FM Diversion says he called the sheriff's dept. Thurs. morning after the contractor came onto his property south of Horace.
Donald Cossette says he has a court order preventing any diversion-related work on his land. Cossette says the contractor voluntarily.
Cossette has maintained that his appraisal is far below what was offered to other property owners, especially those in Oxbow.
