WASHINGTON - President Trump has nominated US District Court Judge Ralph Erickson for an opening on the 8th Circuit Court of Appeals.
Erickson, of Fargo, was nominated by President George W. Bush as a federal judge in 2003. Before that, Erickson was a state district court judge, magistrate judge and Cass County Judge.
Sen. John Hoeven says he supports the nomination and looks forward to moving Erickson's nomination through the senate.
The circuit court covers several states and hears cases in St. Paul and St. Louis, MI.
