FARGO, N.D. (KFGO/AP) - This year's inductees to the Bison Athletic Hall of Fame include longtime play-by-play broadcaster of North Dakota State University athletics and the school's 1972 national champion men's cross country team.
The voice of Bison football and basketball for two decades, broadcaster Scott Miller, died in February after a nearly four-year battle of cancer.
The 1972 men's cross country team won the NCAA Division II championship.
Other inductees include several individual athletes and a coach.
The ceremony is Sept. 30 at the Fargo Holiday Inn. The group also will be recognized during halftime of NDSU's homecoming football game against Illinois State on Oct. 1.
