Fargo, N.D. (KFGO) - Fire has destroyed a home in the Roundill development, just south of Fargo early Wednesday morning.
Six people, two parents and four children, were able to escape. There were no injuries.
Fire departments from Horace, West Fargo, Davenport and Kindred responded.
West Fargo Assistant Fire Chief Rory Jorgensen says the two story, brick home was engulfed in flames when crews arrived on scene shortly after 1 a.m.
Tankers had to haul water in from about a mile away because Roundhill does not have hydrants.
Cass County Deputy Cory Thompsen was first on scene. He says two possible sources for the fire will be investigated; a possible lightning strike and spent fireworks put in a garbage can.
