FARGO (KFGO) - One of the most recognized radio voices in Fargo-Moorhead and the Upper Midwest is retiring.
Tom Wynn of "Tom Wynn and Friends" will leave KFGO at the end of this month.
Wynn, for more than 30 years, shared the morning show microphone with long-time KFGO personality and Farm and Ranch Director Larry Ristvedt, who died in late 2013 after a lengthy battle with ALS, or Lou Gerhig's Disease.
"Tom's retirement is sad for KFGO, but it's also a celebration of a great career" KFGO Operations Manager Joel Heitkamp said. "Just think of how many people, how many generations started their day with Tom Wynn on their radios."
Wynn's radio career spanned 60 years and also included the Twin Cities. He's been with KFGO for 37 years.
