JAMESTOWN, N.D. (AP) - The North Dakota Highway Patrol has identified a 17-year-old boy who died when a man driving a stolen pickup crashed on Interstate 94.
The patrol says the vehicle was eastbound on I-94 east of Jamestown Tuesday afternoon when it entered the median and rolled. Daniel Short, of Belcourt, was ejected and died on scene.
The driver, a 54-year-old man from Fargo, was arrested on suspicion of drunken driving. The patrol says the pickup was stolen from a rural residence in the Spiritwood area.
