FARGO (KFGO) - A Thief River Falls, Minn. will spend two years on probation after he and 17 others were caught in a police sex sting last summer in Fargo.
Thomas Manning was also ordered to pay about $1,000 in fees.
Manning admitted in April that facts of the case were essentially correct. He answered an ad that said that a young female was offering sex. It turned out to be a female police officer.
A number of other people have appealed their cases to the North Dakota Supreme Court, claiming that the sting did not involve any actual minors. A Fargo attorney is representing several of the men.
