PETERSBURG, N.D. (KFGO) - A Little Falls, Minnesota man was pinned in the wreck of his vehicle for about an hour following a crash on U.S. Highway 2, just east of Petersburg, North Dakota Friday night.
The state patrol says a pickup driven by 23-year old Ian Stewart rear-ended a vehicle pulling a camper as that vehicle had slowed to make a turn off the highway onto a gravel road. Stewart was traveling at highway speed when he hit the truck pulling the rv camper.
Stewart was transported to Altru Hospital in Grand Forks. His condition is not available. The Lakota, North Dakota man driving the other vehicle was not hurt. Eastbound traffic on Highway 2 in the area of the crash was affected for four hours.
