FARGO (KFGO) - The superintendent of the Northern Cass School District has been charged with drunken driving after his arrest near Mapleton, ND.
Cory Steiner, 42, was stopped by a Cass County deputy late Sat. afternoon. His blood alcohol content was .165, more than twice the limit for driving. Steiner says he's represented by a Fargo attorney. The lawyer says he won't comment on the arrest at this point.
The president of the school board says the arrest is serious. Susie Larson says the board has full confidence in Steiner.
Last week, the school district confirmed that Steiner and other administrators will take over the responsibilites of the high school principal who missed a deadline to meet educational requirements to keep his job.
