MANDAN, N.D. - Both Democratic U.S. Sen. Heidi Heitkamp and Republican U.S. Rep. Kevin Cramer say they'll join President Trump in North Dakota unless there are important votes in Congress.

Trump is to speak in Mandan about tax reform on Wednesday afternoon.

Heitkamp and Cramer could be running against one another next year for her Senate seat, though Heitkamp hasn't announced whether she'll seek a second term and Cramer hasn't said what his plans are.

Heitkamp is among 10 Democrats in states Trump carried who are up for re-election in 2018. She's opposed Trump on some issues but sided with him on others. Cramer is a staunch Trump advocate.

Sen. John Hoeven says he plans to be with Trump Wednesday. Gov. Doug Burgum plans to greet Trump at the airport.
