Baby delivered by West Fargo police officers doing well

WEST FARGO (KFGO NewsDakota) - Two West Fargo police officers became midwives Wed. night. Officers Austin Bagley and Jacob Danielson came to the aid of an expectant mother and took charge, delivering a baby girl. Sgt. Jason Dura says it’s a rare event for the police department, happening only 3 times that he recalls.

The mother is Stephani Krueger, an art teacher at Valley City High School.

Superintendent Josh Johnson says the school is excited to welcome the newest Hi-Liner to its extended family in a bit of an unusual and exciting manner.

The baby girl was born at Stephani’s parents home in West Fargo.  Krueger and Lakken Charlene are both doing well at Sanford Medical Center in Fargo.
