MOORHEAD, MINN. (KFGO) - There was a high speed pursuit through the F-M metro early Thursday.
It started when the driver of a pickup fled a traffic stop on Wall Street in north Moorhead just after midnight. Deputies and Moorhead police followed the driver as he crossed into north Fargo and headed south on Broadway, 19th Avenue, University Drive and then further south. Officers called off the pursuit near the Target store at 42nd Street and 13th Avenue as speeds hit 75 mph. The driver got away.
Fargo police monitored the pursuit but were not involved in the chase.
