GRAND FORKS - Prosecutors in Grand Forks County are considering whether to file charges in a July crash between a van and semitrailer that killed three people and injured six others.
Grand Forks State's Attorney David Jones says his office needs to review cell phone records to complete the investigation before making a charging decision.
Investigators say the July 18 crash on Highway 2 just west of Grand Forks happened when a van was struck by a semitrailer as the van was turning around on the highway.
Three of the van's nine passengers died and the six others were injured.
Authorities say the van's passengers worked at Grand Forks Air Force Base through a federal program that helps employ workers with disabilities.
