FARGO, N.D. (KFGO) - An early morning fire caused heavy smoke damage to a third floor unit of an apartment at 137 Prairiewood Drive in Fargo early Monday.
A frying pan left unattended on a hot stove caused the fire. Battalion Chief Jason Ness says tenants used a hallway extinquisher to put out the fire, limiting damage. The fire spread to nearby combustibles and ignited some cupboards.
There no injuries. An estimate of damage was not available
