Fargo home damaged by fire

FARGO, N.D. (KFGO) - Fire damaged a home at 3062 24th Avenue South in Fargo. Crews responding to the call around 10:30 p.m. Wednesday found smoke visible from outside the house. The fire was found in one of the upstairs bedrooms and was put out before it could spread. One resident was in the home and got out safely. The cause has not been determined.

Firefighters were called out again, around 1 a.m. Thursday. This time to an apartment building in the 900 block of 42nd Street South. Residents were evacuated because of smoke. Crews found some blankets burning in a storage room and were able to get a quick knockdown. There was some minor damage. The cause is under investigation.
