FARGO (KFGO) - Two people were arrested and another person was injured in a drive-by shooting involving a drug deal gone bad Sunday afternoon in Fargo.
Deputy Police Chief Joe Anderson says two suspects ordered a large amount of drugs from a dealer, and met at a shopping center where one of the supects got into the car with the seller. The suspect pulled a gun and demanded the drugs. There was a struggle over the handgun before the fight broke up and the dealer drove off.
Anderson says the suspects then chased the seller, and ended in the 1500 blk of East Gateway Circle where there was another fight with shots fired at the dealer. The suspects then fled but were stopped by police in West Fargo. Three suspects were taken into custody. One of the suspects confessed and also implicated another person in the incident.
Oscar Kayee, 26 of West Fargo, and Ryan N. Kitch, 21, with no permanent address, were arrested for Conspiracy to Commit Robbery and Conspiracy to Commit Attempted Murder, both class A felonies. The charges may be amended by the Cass County State’s Attorney.
The victim was treated for injuries suffered in the scuffle and was not shot.
