Grand Forks police looking for suspect in robbery, assault

Grand Forks, N.D. (KFGO) - A person suffered a broken wrist after an assault and robbery in Grand Forks early Friday morning.

The police department says around 2:25 a.m., they were called to the parking lot of Denny's (3770 32nd Ave. S.) for a fight in progress. When they arrived, all those involved had left the area.

Around 4:50 a.m., officers were called to the emergency room at Altru Hospital where a victim was being treated for a broken wrist and injuries suffered from being punched several times.

The victim had a watch stolen off him during the assault in the Denny's parking lot.

Police say the suspect is described as a black male, approximately 20 to 30 years old, 6', 180 pounds and was wearing a brown and orange shirt.
