WEST FARGO, N.D. (KFGO) - Damage assessments were conducted after a truck hit a railroad overpass in West Fargo.

A truck driven by an employee of Ken's Sanitation left a lift extended while passing underneath the overpass.  It happened Wed. morning on Center St., just north of Main Ave.  Street Dept. Crew Chief Dan Birnbaum says Industrial Builders and BNSF Railway employees checked for possible structural damage.  Center St. is a major traffic route in West Fargo.

City spokeswoman Melissa Richard says Center St. has reopened.  Street dept. barricades had been in place north of Main Ave. and north of the overpass.

No serious injuries were reported, but the truck driver may have struck his head on the windshield.

The truck was heavily damaged.
