FARGO (KFGO) - The man charged in the kidnapping and death of Savanna Greywind has told a judge in Fargo that he plans to take his case to trial. A March trial date is now expected.
38 year-old William Hoehn is charged with kidnapping and murder-conspiracy along with his girlfriend, Brooke Crews, 32.
Greywind was pregnant when she disappeared from her north Fargo apartment in Aug. Her newborn daughter was found by police in the apartment shared by Hoehn and Crews. Greywind's body was pulled from the Red River.
Relatives of Greywind attended the hearing for Hoehn and glared at him after he entered the courtroom. Hoehn looked in their direction but showed no emotion.
Crews is planning to change her plea to guilty on Monday.
