North Dakota (KFGO) - Gov. Doug Burgum has directed all government agencies to fly the United States and North Dakota flags at half-staff Thursday in observance of National Pearl Harbor Remembrance Day.
Thursday is the 76th anniversary of the Japanese attack on Pearl Harbor in Hawaii in 1941, where more than 2,400 Americans were killed and more than 1,100 were wounded.
The governor’s directive is in accordance with a proclamation to be issued by President Donald Trump.
