FARGO (KFGO) - A district judge in Fargo has refused to temporarily release from jail the brother of the man accused in a stabbing rampage in St. Cloud, Minn.
The brother of Dahir Adan, Abdullahi Adan, 27, of St. Cloud, wanted to be released from the Cass County Jail to attend his brother's funeral. He's in jail in Fargo on drug charges stemming from a traffic stop in June.
District Judge Thomas Olson was told by a prosecutor that Abdullahi Adan might be arrested by federal immigration agents should he be released.
Dahir Adan was shot and killed by an off-duty police officer last Sat. night after he stabbed 10 people at Crossroads Shopping Center.
