FARGO (KFGO) - A federal judge has dismissed a lawsuit filed by a man waiting to go on trial for two Fargo murders.
Ashley Hunter sued attorney Steve Mottinger for malpractice.
The judge's order says Hunter's lawsuit does not have an adequate basis for federal jurisdiction.
Hunter is charged in the 2015 murders of Clarence Flowers and Samuel Traut. Hunter's trial is tentatively scheduled to begin in October.
