Tower City, N.D. (KFGO) - A woman had to be extricated from her vehicle after it rolled near Tower City, N.D. yesterday afternoon.
The North Dakota Highway Patrol says just after 1 p.m., an SUV driven by 43-year-old Casselton, N.D. resident Amy Hartze was traveling west on I-94 when the vehicle went into the median. The SUV then swerved right across the west bound lanes, entered the ditch, struck a box culvert and came to rest on the driver's side.
Hartze, who was wearing a seat belt, was pinned inside.
She was taken to Essentia Hospital in Fargo with non-life threatening injuries.
The highway patrol says a medical condition is believed to be the cause of the crash. The crash is still under investigation.
