Fargo, N.D. (KFGO) - Children looking for books in the Fargo Public Libraries about police officers have more options than ever before to choose from. The books were part of a donation made in memory of Fargo Police Officer Jason Moszer.
The 45 new books, which all have a similar theme, contain stories about police officers, police dogs, safety and other related topics. The books, both fiction and nonfiction, will be divided among all three Fargo Public Library locations.
Members of the Fargo Public Library Board, library staff, Friends of the Fargo Public Library and Commissioner Mike Williams contributed $700 to the memorial fund. That money was used to purchase the new books.
Officer Moszer died in the line of duty earlier this year.
