CASSELTON, N.D. (KFGO) - A Leonard man is dead after a van crash in Cass County.
The North Dakota Highway Patrol says the van driven by 61-year-old Erland Wateland drifted into the ditch on state Highway 18 and struck an intersecting township road.
The crash happened shortly after 7 p.m. Thursday, about 2 miles south of Casselton.
Wateland was alone in the mini-van.
