BISMARCK (KFGO) - Temperatures were much colder in northwest and north central North Dakota Fri. morning where some very light snow flurries were reported. Temperatures fell into the 20's and freeze warnings were posted.

Bill Abling, a meteorologist with the National Weather Service in Bismarck, says another system across the same area late Fri. night will bring the seasons first measurable snow to North Dakota.

The snow line will stretch fom Williston to Minot, along and north of Highway 2, to the Canadian border. Accumulations of less than an inch are expected.

He says chances of any snow reaching the Red River Valley are slim.
