FARGO (KFGO) - New drone footage, supplied by the City of Fargo, shows construction is nearly complete on the Second Street North floodwall downtown.
The drone footage, taken October 21, stretches from Case Plaza to the railroad overpass. It shows the bike path between the wall and the Red River. Remaining road work, sidewalks, traffic signals and street lights is expected to be wrapped up by mid-November.
The concrete floodwall replaces the massive temporary clay levee's that had to be built to protect the downtown during flooding.
