Moorhead, MN (KFGO/MPD) - Moorhead shoppers can take care of one more thing on their “to do list” during the holiday shopping season.
Moorhead Police volunteers will be selling 2017 pet licenses on Saturdays from 10:00 am to 2:00 p.m. They will be at Sam's Club on December 3rd, Moorhead Center Mall on the 10th and on December 17th they will be at Family Fare.
All dogs and cats over six months old must be licensed annually by no later than February 15 of each year.
Pet license fees are a minimal $5 and you will also need to know the date of your pet’s last rabies vacation.
If you don’t license your animal and it is found, a no license fee of $50.00 will be charged.
Pet licenses can also be purchase online or at the Moorhead Police Department Monday through Friday, 8:00 am to 4:30 pm.
